چکیده

This report is an investigation into Hilbert’s Problems, a set of twentythree questions posed by David Hilbert in 1900. In particular, the report focuses on the first and third problems those of the Continuum Hypothesis, following Cohen’s original proof of its independence; and the Equidecomposability of Polyhedra, following Hadwiger’s proof. It also looks at sets of problems for the twenty-first century.

$ast$-K-g-Frames in Hilbert $mathcal{A}$-modules

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of $ast$-K-g-Frames in Hilbert $mathcal{A}$-modules and we establish some results.

Syndrome of the month Peutz-Jeghers syndrome

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS,MIM 175200) is a disease of autosomal dominant inheritance that is characterised by hamartomatous gastrointestinal polyps and mucocutaneous pigmentation. In addition to problems such as intussusception, PJS predisposes to cancers of several sites. The unusual combination of clinical features makes the identification of the defect underlying PJS particularly interesti...

Equilibrium problems and fixed point problems for nonspreading-type mappings in hilbert space

In this paper by using the idea of mean convergence, weintroduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of theset of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the fixed points setof a nonspreading-type mappings in Hilbert space. A strongconvergence theorem of the proposed iterative scheme is establishedunder some control conditions. The main result of this paper extendthe results obtain...

STRAD in Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and sporadic cancers.

BACKGROUND/AIMS LKB1 is a tumour suppressor gene that is associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS), a rare autosomal dominant cancer predisposition syndrome. However, germline mutations in the LKB1 gene are found in only about 60% of patients with PJS, suggesting the existence of a second PJS gene. The STRAD gene, encoding an LKB1 interacting protein that activates LKB1, which subsequently l...

On duality of modular G-Riesz bases and G-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules

In this paper, we investigate duality of modular g-Riesz bases and g-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules. First we give some characterization of g-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules, by using properties of operator theory. Next, we characterize the duals of a given g-Riesz basis in Hilbert C*-module. In addition, we obtain sufficient and necessary condition for a dual of a g-Riesz basis to be agai...
